Ati radeon hd 2600 xt for mac pro. The current only PSX core available on Recalbox do an amazing job on ARM boards.But he can't manage enhanced rendering options on X86 builds.

So to fix this issue, we added the libretro mednafen psx cores.

Missing file scph5501.bin help! This is really starting to bug me, got the app installed got the ps1 games loaded in interface but keep getting the message ' firmware is missing ' scph5501.bin. I have that file and others in the retroarch system folder is that in the wrong place or I'm or doing anything wrong. I can't get scph5501.bin to work I have it in the system folder but I'm still getting an error, not sure what I'm meant to do as I've tried everything I've found online and none of it seems to work.

The mednafen_psx_hw core is Enhanced OpenGL Version with OpenGL renderer.It needs at least an OpenGL 3.1 compatible GPU.If your hardware is not compatible, you can use the standard mednafen_psx core.

Here are some options available with these cores :

Scph5501.bin: SCPH-5501/v3.0A BIOS image. Required for North America/US-region games. Reportedly the same as the SCPH-7003 BIOS image.

• Internal GPU Resolution (1x(native)/2x/4x/8x/16x/32x)
• Texture filtering (nearest/SABR/xBR/bilinear/3-point/JINC2)
• Internal color depth (dithered 16bpp (native)/32bpp)
• PGXP perspective correct texturing
• Widescreen mode hack
• CPU Overclock
• CHD games support

For your information, these cores needs to add some new bios. Here are the files to add in your Recalbox :
